Help Us as We Help Others Displaced by Lake County Wildfires

As the devastation continues with Lake County and Napa County fires, we at Isis Oasis Sanctuary have taken in people who have been displaced by the wildfires. Our neighbors at Harbin Hot Springs were detrimentally affected; Harbin may rebuild, but for now…it is no more. We have been feeding and helping anyone who shows up, and we’ve had tremendous and generous donations of food, sleeping bags, and help in the kitchens. We continue to welcome volunteers on a daily basis. Some are here everyday; others do what they can for one day. Everyone has been so amazing and wonderful.

This is what makes a community stronger: Helping those in need, no matter the cost. There are so many personal stories from our friends and family who have lost everything, and it’s heartbreaking to see the grief, as much as we are glad they made it out with their lives. We are at the point of 35% containment, with over 75,000 acres burned as this post is made.

We set up a fundraiser a few days ago to help us feed those in need staying with us at Isis Oasis Sanctuary. We are only asking for $4000 because that’s how much we think we’ll need to cover our costs. The money goes directly towards food, sundries, and even gas money to help people get back to check on their homes if they need it. It’s no small feat to feed everyone three meals a day, and the Temple has been doing it by the grace of the Goddess, herself.

Please take a moment to view our campaign. Donate if you can, but don’t worry if you can’t. Spread the word – that helps us a lot!

We thank you immensely for your support. We are humbled and grateful for every dollar raised. Your support makes all the difference for our displaced friends.
