  • I had no idea it was part of such a gorgeous Retreat Center!

When I booked this location, I just thought it would be cool to stay in a yurt. I had no idea it was part of such a gorgeous retreat center! Isis Oasis is a beautifully designed sanctuary dedicated to the Goddess Isis (as I understand it). Besides the yurt, which was a way cool experience, there is a lodge with everything you need (bathroom, kitchen, etc), numerous meditation paths lovingly decorated, and a variety of exotic animals to keep you company. Miguel is very nice; it is obvious that he is passionate about what he does. The whole place is very relaxing and inspiring, I definitely recommend it-   Happy Air bnb guest

  • We love this place!

A true oasis, this magical and relaxing place kept us entertained and energized from the moment we arrived to our reluctant departure. The Isis Oasis is one of a kind, a bit rough on the edges, for those of us who appreciate a genuine patina, it is heaven. (This is not the place for those who need everything to be new and matching.) The Isis Oasis was the prefect place to celebrate my 40th birthday with 18 other lady friends. We hope to come again next year. We loved how free we felt to relax and enjoy the pool, hot tub and roam around the temples, gardens and animal sanctuary. A particular treat was to enjoy the adobe structures made by Miguel including the hobbit houses, fire pit and pizza ovens. Miguel and the other gracious staff made sure we had everything our hearts desired. We loved the pizzas cooked in the garden from the adobe ovens. We all left with our souls and hearts full from our time together in a place so full of Goddess power. There is now an extra twinkle in our eyes as we will carry the spirit of Isis with us.   – Air BnB guest

  • Trippy…This place is an experience

“A comfortable, well appointed, and trippy place to stay in Sonoma wine country. We stayed in the cottage and it was spotless. My friend and I both wished it was our house, great windows and vistas, stained glass, comfy and attractive furniture,  functional kitchen, plush king bed, and private hot tub. We picked fresh figs off the tree outside. This place is an experience and not for the traveler who prefers standard hotel amenities. Great place for cycling holiday”.  — Deb, Yelp Review

  • It’s in a class all by itself and holds five stars

“I’ve been visiting Isis at least once a year for the last 12 or so. And I always leave feeling blessed to have this unique getaway available to me. It’s difficult to make a comparison to any other retreat center I’ve ever been to, it’s truly one of a kind. It wouldn’t be fair to a Hyatt Hotel to ask where the Temple was located, or the exotic cat exhibit, or to expect to be joined by a wild turkey on your afternoon walk. Loren has carefully crafted a retreat center that’s warm and friendly, relaxing, comfortable and completely unique. It’s in a class all by itself and holds five stars.  I can’t recommend it highly enough.” — Bill, Yelp review

  • Its a cross between a hotel / zoo / hippie retreat / wedding center

“Isis Oasis is a retreat center for spiritual groups and individuals. Its a cross between a hotel/zoo/hippie retreat/wedding center. It is definitely a great place to have a down to earth, green family get together or a fun evening away for the girls. The hot tub, pool and private grounds make for a super fun getaway but make no mistakes this is a retreat center not a metropolitan hotel so expect a “Friendly Hostel” sort of feel. They have ocelots, parrots, peacocks and a location just a 15 minute walk from the river. They have AMAZING rates for weddings and whole facility rentals that include a lodge, a theater, a full industrial kitchen and dining hall.” — Erin, Yelp Review

  • The Isis Oasis itself is like nothing else I’ve ever seen

“The Hobbit Hut looked charming and unique online and did not disappoint in person. I had a great night’s sleep and really enjoyed waking up with the ambient light through the stained glass windows. It’s nicely secluded, yet only a minute or two from the main lodge. The Isis Oasis itself is like nothing else I’ve ever seen – the artwork, animals, structures, and sense of well-being. While I was just a guest and not participating in any formal retreat or program, everyone was very welcoming beginning with Loreon herself. The pool was also a real delight given the August heat. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat and hope to experience some of the other lodging options.”  — Daniel,  Air BnB

  • A must if you have the opportunity!

“What a treat to find such a quaint little place right in the heart of wine country. Check in was super easy and flexible, which is always a plus. The property is littered with beautiful cob art by an apparently renowned artist who we had the pleasure of spending some time with. A must if you have the opportunity!”  — Chris, AirBnB.com

  • This place is a cat-tastic!

“This place is a cat-tastic! Egyptian goddess-themed rooms in the lodge, great pool and hot tub, friendly staff, Isis temple, and the many exotic birds and cats made my night here an enjoyable and memorable experience”.

  • We can’t wait to come back

“Isis Oasis is a unique place to stay with lots to see and do. The staff is friendly, flexible and aim to please. The prices are fair and the food is delicious! Our group had an incredibly fun weekend and we can’t wait to come back and have another event here”.

  • It’s like finding Cairo in Sonoma

The Isis Oasis is a fascinating Californian destination. It’s the ancient Egyptian equivalent to Swami’s down in Encinitas. As Swami’s attempts to recreate India in the Southland, so does Lady Loreon try to recreate the mysticism of ancient Egypt. There are recreations of temples, and on Sunday afternoons, Lady Loreon gives a tour/discussion.

There’s a little lodge with each room named for a goddess. There’s a zoo of sorts with various cats and birds. It’s part zoo/part spiritual retreat, not unlike the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas in Ukiah that’s part Buddhist monastery/retreat center/temple/vegetarian restaurant.

Isis Oasis is a serene place secreted among the vineyards and redwoods. It’s like finding Cairo in Sonoma. A definite Wine Country destination.
